VAT Eligibility Declaration (for a charity)

 

If the funds to purchase items come from a charitable source  or if you are chronically sick or disabled, you may be eligible to receive goods or services without paying Value Added Tax (VAT).  If so you can complete this declaration and Smirthwaite will not charge VAT on any appropriate purchases you make, saving you 20% at the time of purchase.

Chronically sick is defined as a long term or long lasting illness condition such as diabetes. Disabled is defined as a mental or physical disability that may occur during a person's lifetime or may be present from birth and has a serious effect on their ability to carry out everyday life.
